Bank Introduction::

MCB Bank Limited is a global commercial bank headquartered in the city of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The Bank has a large presence in Pakistan with 1,551 branches spread across the country. May Bank, a Malaysian financial institution, and Nishat Group, a Pakistani business, are the two major owners.

Mian Muhammad is at the helm of both Mansha Group and MCB. The members of the group are employed in numerous fields typical to the country, such as finance, textiles, cement, and insurance. 

The Bank has set up an Islamic banking operation to offer services and products in accordance with Shariah law, and has opened specialized Islamic banking branches in six cities.

In 2005, the Bank's leadership decided to change the bank's name from Muslim Commercial Bank Limited to MCB Bank Limited in order to increase the bank's visibility in international markets. 

When he tried to get a driver's license, he ran into trouble because of the word "Muslim," especially in Western countries.

In 2008, the MCB headquarters moved from MCB Tower in Karachi to the brand new MCB House on Ghous-ul-Azam Street, commonly known as Jail Road, in Lahore.
